UK Lords join Shyft Advisory
It is with much excitement that we welcome Lord Anthony St John (House of Lords, UK) and Lord Desai (Economist, House of Lords, UK) to the Shyft advisory panel. The latest advisors to become involved in the project, both men add a certain gravitas and credibility to the team through their established careers and reputations in finance and economics, respectively.
Lord Anthony St John’s has practiced as an attorney and has worked for over 25 years in traditional financial services in London. He built and ran one of the largest web hosting businesses in the UK and has advised on several notable tech companies. In a Parliamentary capacity he serves on the House of Lords Ad Hoc Select Committee on Artificial Intelligence and is a member of the Parliamentary IT Committee. On Shyft, he offers,

Lord Desai is a UK Economist and Labour politician. He is a retired professor of economics at the London School of Economics where he founded several institutes. Lord Desai has written many books and has published over 200 articles in academic journals. Currently he serves as a founder chairman of the Meghnad Desai Academy of Economics in Mumbai. He is also chairman of the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum Advisory Board.
